1. The service
Momentro is a desktop application that turns your local video clips into a finished film. Processing happens on your device. Some features (account, billing, license validation) require an internet connection.
2. Your account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Momentro.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Momentro on devices you own or control, in line with your active plan. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the app.
4. Payments
Paid plans are billed by our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy). Checkout is opened from the Momentro desktop app so purchases can be tied to your account and your projects. Annual subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time in your account. Single-project purchases are one-time. Taxes may apply based on your location.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the videos and films you create with Momentro. We do not claim ownership of your content. Because we do not upload your media to our servers, we do not store or process it on your behalf.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Momentro to:
- Violate the law or someone else’s rights;
- Process content you do not have the right to use;
- Distribute malware or attempt to disrupt the service;
- Bypass licensing or technical protections.
7. Third-party services
We rely on third-party providers (payments, email, hosting, error tracking). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their portion of the service.
8. Updates and changes
We may update Momentro and these terms over time. Material changes will be communicated reasonably in advance. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
9. Warranty disclaimer
Momentro is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Momentro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
You can stop using Momentro at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. On termination, your license ends; sections that by nature should survive (e.g. liability, governing law) remain in effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state where the Momentro entity providing the service is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer rights in your country still apply.
